Wimbledon 2008 Ticket Prices
Here we show the actual cost of standard showcourt tickets for the coming year - these are
not debenture tickets.
A question we are frequently asked is how it is possible to buy tickets at the prices listed below, because
you only see tickets being sold on various websites for hundreds of pounds. First things first, the high
ticket prices you are seeing are either debenture tickets or those included in a tour package.
Note that nobody holds tickets well in advance of the tournament, if they say they have them then
they are lying to you. The AELTC issue all tickets 1-2 months before the start of the tournament, so even
debenture ticket holders don't know their exact seat - it is a security procedure.
There are the only 4 methods of obtaining the ticket at the face value, each are shown below
(for further details of each of these methods see our
tickets page):
- your local tennis club holds a ballot for tickets and you win
- you are an LTA Advantage member and win in the ballot
- you enter the public ballot and win - closes 31 December
- you queue up on the day/overnight
Ticket prices vary considerably depending on type/day.
