2005 May 22 - R.Garros: Henman new opponent
Tim Henman has side-stepped a potentially tricky first round match with Potito Starace at Roland Garros,
as the Italian has withdrawn with an ankle injury.
His replacement will be the 23-year-old Argentine Juan Pablo Brzezicki who has been regularly reaching semi-finals
in Challenger events this season and took a set from American James Blake at Forest Hills, New York, earlier
this month.
Tim is looking forward to emulating - or even surpassing - the Roland Garros semi-final he reached last year:
"I now have strength in my belief that I can play very effectively on clay.
"If you can be in the semis of a Slam why can't you go further?"
Roland Garros starts on Monday 23rd May.
