2005 May 09 - Henman v Rusedski in Hamburg
Tim Henman eased past German Lars Burgsmuller 6-3 6-4 to set up a second round match with compatriot
Greg Rusedski at the Tennis Masters Hamburg in Germany.
The British No.1 was in control of the match from the start and a single break of serve in the forth game
was all he needed to take the opening set.
It was more of the same in the second set as he broke serve early and held serve to claim a comfortable victory.
The only negative for Tim was the condition of the clay court. He said:
"I felt the conditions were really tough. You've got to be positive in your mind, not let things
upset you too much."
On meeting Greg in the second round he added:
"It always adds some extra spice when I play against Greg, but I feel confident and I have been playing some
really good tennis."
