Great Britain recovered from their defeat to Slovenia yesterday with a 2-1 win against Denmark in Turkey.

In the singles, Anne Keothavong defeated Caroline Wozniacki 6-3 4-6 6-2, then Elena Baltacha followed up with a straight sets defeat of Karina-Ildor Jacobsgaard 6-3 7-5.

With the tie already in the bag the doubles rubber was left to young Katie O-Brien and Jane O'Donoghue who were defeated in a close match 6-3 7-6(5) by Karina-Ildor Jacobsgaard and Hanne Skak-Jensen.

A victory against Serbia & Montenegro tomorrow would ensure Great Britain reach the knock-out stages of the tournament with hopes of reaching the World Group play-offs in July.
