2004 Oct 11 - Rusedski into quarter-final

Greg Rusedski wasted no time in dispensing of Italian Filippo Volandri 6-2 6-4 in the Kremlin Cup in Moscow, Russia.

In the first set the British No.2 dominated from start to finish breaking the Italian twice.

Filippo broke early in the second set and made Greg work hard to break back. With the set poised at 4-4 Greg broke again to close out the match.

In the quarter-final Greg will be up against the talented Swede Joachim Johansson who he lost to earlier this year in their debut match in Indianapolis, USA.
