2004 Sep 13 - Henman forth in world rankings
Tim Henman's consistent performances this year in reaching the Pacific Life Open final, Roland Garros
semi-final, Wimbledon quarter-final and recently making the US Open semi-final have culminated in pushing
his ATP Entry Ranking up to forth in the world.
However, the British No.1 is no stranger to being world No.4 as this equals his previous career high
position.
Tim told his personal website:
"I've always been a firm believer in the rankings as they can't lie.
"Doing well at the French and US Opens was something I targeted this year."
Tim is currently resting on 2825 points - only 5 points ahead of fifth position Guillermo Coria. Lleyton Hewitt and
Andy Roddick are battling out second place while world No.1 Roger Federer is on another planet with 6760 points
- some 2990 points ahead of his nearest rival Andy Roddick!
