2004 Sep 09 - Charity Match: Henman v Ivanisevic
Tim Henman is set to play Goran Ivanisevic in a charity tennis match at the Royal Albert Hall in London
on 30th November.
Although the main aim of this match is to raise money for Tim's charity "Kids at Heart", the British No.1
will see this as a chance to exact revenge on the Croatian. The last time both players met was the
rain-delayed Wimbledon 2001 semi-final which Goran won and then went on to defeat Pat Rafter in an epic
People's Monday final.
Tim said:
"I have been waiting a long time for a chance to get my own back at Goran!
"I can't think of a better place to do so than at the Royal Albert Hall, particularly as it will benefit a
cause that means so much to me."
However, it is possible the two could meet beforehand as they are both scheduled to appear at the
Superset Tennis event at Wembley Arena in London
on 3rd October.
