2004 Jul 16 - Davis Cup: Murray called up

There is a new face in the Great Britain Davis Cup team, Andrew Murray. He will take his place alongside Tim Henman, Greg Rusedski and Alex Bogdanovic in the World Group Play-off against Austria starting 24 September.

Jeremy Bates (Great Britian Davis Cup Captain) of his inclusion:

"Andrew has earned his place due to his excellent form recently.

"He is a young, exciting and versatile player and is at home on any surface.

And added:

"Tim and Greg continue to perform exceptionally on the world stage.

"This is a very strong squad with an exciting blend of experience and youth.

"It will be a very tough tie and we are looking forward to the challenge."
