2004 Jul 03 - Henman annihilates El Aynaoui

Tim Henman brushed aside Moroccan Younes El Aynaoui 6-1 6-0 in the first round of the Western & Southern Financial Group Masters in Cincinnati, USA.

The British No.1 wrapped up the match in only 50 minutes and faced very little resistance from the Moroccan who was playing in his first match since January due to a foot injury.

After the match Tim said:

"He has obviously been struggling, he has not played for a long long time but you just have to take care of whatever speed or level your opponent is playing.

"It doesn't often happen you get such an easy match but you take it when it comes along."

In the second round Tim will be up against another Moroccan in the form of Hicham Arazi who he defeated in the third round of Wimbledon just over a month ago.
