2004 Mar 12 - ATP issue leaflets to players
In the recent Rusedski v ATP tribunal the ATP were accused of not doing enough
to warn all players about the supplements they decided to withdraw, therefore to
avoid any further trouble they have been issuing leaflets to the players.
Mark Miles (ATP Chief Executive) has told players to destroy all supplements which
were given to the players by the ATP via their own trainers. This mean any player now testing
positive for nandrolone will have not have the same escape route as Greg Rusedski, Bodhan Ulihrach (who
Greg's defence was based on as he was acquitted of the same charge) and seven other players
who were also acquitted of similar nandrolone charges.
