2003 Oct 30 - Henman reaches Paris quarter-final
Tim Henman's impressive winning streak continued as he defeated Gustavo Kuerten in
the third round of the Paris Masters tournament with a 6-4 6-2 straight sets victory.
The talented Brazilian just couldn't get himself into the game, primarily due to one
of the finest Tim Henman performances we've seen this year.
All was square in the first set until Tim broke serve in the fifth game, and proceeded to hold
his own serve to secure the set. The second set saw Gustavo broken in his first service game, and Tim continued
to apply the necessary pressure until he had closed out the match.
With impressive victories over Sebastian Grosjean and Gustavo Kuerten already under his belt, Tim will be
in confident mood as he takes on reigning Wimbledon champion Roger Federer in the quarter-final.
