2003 May 19 - Davis Cup in Morocco on hold

The GB vs Morocco Davis Cup tie in Casablanca may not go ahead following the recent suicide bombings which resulted in over 40 deaths in the city.

The Lawn Tennis Association have expressed their concerns, and the Foreign Office are advising travellers to "Avoid public gatherings."

However, the International Tennis Federation (ITF) have yet to give a final decision, which will be based on a report from their risk assessment company Marsh.
