Club Assistant Coach - Thorndale LTC, Wallasey

Level 2/3 coach to deliver extra-curricular activities for schools in the local area. Guaranteed 10 hours made up of extra-curricular hours hours on the existing club programme with opportunity to grow own lessons/hours.

Venue Overview

Thorndale LTC has recently had a £50,000 redevelopment along with 5 hard courts, 3 of which have floodlights recently fitted. The club has a great social atmosphere and we are looking for someone to come in and help bring more players to our club through our strong school links.

We are currently linked with all 13 primary schools in Wallasey along with links to most secondary schools in the local area as well. Thorndale LTC also has strong links to all of the local parks.

The club currently has a full programme running consisting of Mini Tennis, Adults Tennis, Cardio Tennis and Teen Tennis.

Job Specification

We are looking for a level 2 tennis coach who is highly motivated to increase participation in the local area. The coach would need to:

- Be willing to cater for all ages and abilities
- Be available for regular meeting with Head Coach to discuss plans, progress etc.
- Deliver extra- curricular activities in required schools
- Take responsibility for completing and returning all the necessary forms including a register of participants, feedback questionnaires etc.

The candidate must be an LTA Accredited coach.

The candidate must hold a Full UK Driving License and have access to a car.
